About this Event
Honolulu Wild Isle Hunt
A Little Island Curiosity Goes a Long Way
There’s more to a scavenger hunt than racing toward the next clue. Honolulu Wild Isle Hunt is about slowing down just enough to catch the details, solve what’s in front of you, and discover what your next digital prompt has in store.
During the hunt, you might piece together a puzzle, track down a clue, complete an observation or photo task, make a location-based discovery, collaborate on a team prompt, or tackle a creative mini-challenge. Keep your eyes open—the smallest detail could inspire your next move.
First Things First: Get Connected
Your phone is part of the experience, so charge it before you arrive.
This is a DIGITAL SCAVENGER HUNT, and your instructions and important event details are SENT THROUGH EMAIL. Check your inbox before heading to Honolulu Zoo and make sure you're ready to explore and participate.
NO EMAIL? CHECK YOUR SPAM OR JUNK FOLDER.
A REMOTE HOST will be available for check-in and assistance during the hunt. For further inquiries, contact 609-855-1852.
A Quick Reminder
Unless specifically stated otherwise, the hunt does not include event or attraction admission, parking, transportation, food and drinks, reservations, additional activity or attraction fees, or personal expenses. Please make your own arrangements for anything you may need.
Pick, Pass, or Play
Not every prompt needs an answer. All challenges are optional, and you may skip anything you're unable or uncomfortable completing.
Choose what sounds fun, leave what doesn't, and enjoy the hunt at your own pace.
Keep the Island Search Respectful
Stay in publicly accessible visitor areas and follow Honolulu Zoo rules, posted instructions, local laws, and safety guidance. Never enter closed, private, restricted, or staff-only areas to complete a challenge.
Be considerate of the animals, other visitors, property, and surrounding environment as you explore.
