🤠 Dust off your boots and get ready to hoedown with us!
Learn to two-step and line dance at our bi-weekly country dances. Always LIVE BANDS, CLASSIC COUNTRY MUSIC, and a good time.
Featured Bands:
**Rebecca Runions & Friends**
Rebecca Runions is a Victoria-based singer/songwriter who grew up in the beautiful foothills of Alberta. She was raised by cowboys, singing country songs around campfires and in community halls. Thus her taste in music was shaped by the greats: Hank Williams, Ian Tyson, Emmylou Harris, Corb Lund. Expect to hear many prairie-inspired songs that are near and dear to her heart, including a few of her own.
**Catscratch Fever**
Informed by country and folk music from the early twentieth century, Arkadi and Aurielle carry audiences back in time. Paying tribute to artists like Patsy Cline, Kitty Wells, Hank Williams and Lefty Frizzell, they bring their own spin to time honoured classics. With deep roots in Victoria’s music and dance community, Catscratch Fever brings a warm, lively sound made for two-stepping, swing dancing, and a good old-fashioned honky tonk night.
**Bryden Amos**
Bryden Amos is an indigenous artist based out of Victoria, BC coming from the Nuu-Chah-nulth nation. With inspirations from old timey jazz, western swing and country blues that will get those boots clicking.
