There is a BIG difference between "advocating" for NJ registered medical cannabis patients' right to grow some of their own medicine, and "fighting" for their rights. Let's stop kidding ourselves about which category we fit in. I have disappointed myself by having traded in "fighting" for "advocating" a few years back. That has allowed Scutari's effortless 5-year blockade on an informational hearing for S1758 to seamlessly continue on and on and on. I should have felt like I do now 3 years ago, but I settled into being a by-the-book advocate. I allowed the Scutari Blockade by way of not "fighting" to remove it. In doing so, I broke a death bed promise I made to Cheryl 23 years ago, and now it is time for me to atone for that. I will need help, but there so few fighters left.
