It’s time for our beekeepers to harvest another batch of honey!
Our honeybees have been busy producing honey all summer, building up enough stores to keep the hive comfortable and well-fed through winter. With excess honey ready to be harvested, our beekeepers are inviting you to watch the process firsthand—from honeycomb to jar—and see how the honey we love makes its way out of the hive and onto our favorite foods.
Sit in on the process and discover:
- What honey looks like when it’s fresh from the hive (our beekeepers will do the harvest at the hive beforehand)
- How bees prepare honey and what’s done to release it from the honeycomb
- The tools used to extract honey
- The steps honey goes through before it can be jarred
From honeycomb to jar, watch the process unfold and discover more about where your honey comes from. This is a great event for those who appreciate knowing the source of their food and those who love honey and bees.
