Hey friends and fellow homeschool families,I’ve been a homeschool dad for years, raising my kids with purpose, creativity, and real skills right here in the Midwest. As a small business owner, I’ve always believed in investing my time, energy, and resources into things that truly matter — especially lifting up our kids and our communities.
That’s why I’m thrilled (and pouring my own heart and resources into this) to announce:
Homeschool Stars Live!
November 6 in Paulding, Ohio!
This is going to be the real deal — just like America’s Got Talent, but created for and by homeschoolers. We’re aiming for hundreds of students to qualify from across the Midwest and beyond. The top 20 will compete live on stage for a $100 cash prize (and we’re actively looking for sponsors to make that prize pool much bigger — every bit helps these talented kids shine even brighter).
We’re pulling out all the stops to make this feel like a true television production:
- Cinematic drone shots
- 4K close-ups
- Professional-grade audio
- A dedicated judging panel
- Commercials and that full live-TV energy
Our goal? To bring back the magic of community television — the kind that makes people in small towns feel truly seen, celebrated, and connected. Three Ninjas Productions (that’s me, James Orozco) is personally funding this to get it off the ground. The show will happen either way, but the more support and sponsorship we get, the bigger the prizes, the more contestants we can welcome, and the higher the quality we can deliver.
Talents of all kinds are welcome — singers, musicians, actors, knife throwers, dog trainers, athletes, dancers, comedians… if it’s a talent, we want to see it! And this isn’t limited to Ohio. Homeschool kids from anywhere in the world are invited to come compete in Paulding on November 6. If you’ve got something special, we want you here.
Delicious food for the event will be provided by the amazing Setser Sourdough — her sourdough creations are warm, comforting, and made with real love.
This is more than just a talent show. It’s about celebrating the incredible gifts, discipline, and heart our homeschool kids have. It’s about building memories, confidence, friendships, and a sense of pride in who we are as a community. When our kids step into that spotlight, it’s going to be electric.
If you’re a homeschool family with a talented kid, this is your stage.
If you’re a business or individual who wants to sponsor or donate (prizes, production, or general support), please reach out — we’d love to partner with you.
If you just want to come cheer, eat great food, and be part of something special, mark your calendar.
