Please meet at the Williamson Mound entrance.NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED, WALK-INS WELCOME!
Bring your homeschoolers out to learn how to make a "debris hut" and help us with some land management at the same time. By pulling invasive honeysuckle out of the ground to cover their huts, they will help native plants survive. Debris huts will only stay up until the program is over and then we will make it look like we were never there.
Homeschool Science Days are station-based with various fun, educational activities. These are drop-in programs that begin at 10 am, and will continue until noon. Please plan to arrive no later than 11:30 am, in order to have time to enjoy the activities.
Dress for the weather. This program will be entirely outdoors, rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, check our Facebook page for updates. There is a chance that participants may get muddy.
At least one adult must be present with each homeschool group.
