About this Event
This event is sponsored by Texas Sports Academy and is free to attend, but you must RSVP.
Spend an afternoon on the courts at Pickleland in Pflugerville, with 9 indoor, air-conditioned courts. The Pickleland coaching staff will start with a short intro on paddle basics, scoring, and the rules, then put everyone into live games so every student leaves having actually played. Groups are split by age and ability, and all equipment is provided.
Parents are welcome to play for free during the session.
It’s also a chance for the whole family to see the facility, meet the Pickleland team, learn about their homeschool open play program, and connect with other homeschool and Texas Sports Academy families in the area.
Who can attend
Students in grades 3 through 12 of all skill levels and their families. That includes current Texas Sports Academy students, homeschool families, and families interested in learning more about the Texas Sports Academy community. No experience is needed, and most Pickleland juniors walk in having never held a paddle.
What to bring
Comfortable athletic clothes, non-marking court or tennis shoes, and a water bottle if you like. Paddles and balls are provided, so there is nothing to buy ahead of time.

Registration
Reserve one free student ticket for each participating student. Parents who play do not need a ticket; just tell us how many will play in the registration questions. If you already registered on the Texas Sports Academy community event page, please do not register again here.
