For our November field trip, we’re doing something a little different! Instead of our usual educational field trips, we’ll be focusing on community service and spreading a little kindness! 💚
We’re planning a visit to a local nursing home where the kids will have the opportunity to spend time with residents, deliver handmade cards, and hopefully bring a few extra smiles to their day!
During our co-op meeting leading up to the visit, we’ll be making cards for the residents. Families who aren’t part of our regular co-op are welcome to participate, too! You can make cards at home to bring along. We’ll share more details and guidelines as the date gets closer.
A few things to know:
• We’re still working on finding a nursing home willing to host our group. Once we have a location confirmed, we’ll update this event with the address and meeting time!
• The visit will be somewhere in the Jackson/Spring Arbor area.
• More information about the cards and what to expect during our visit will be shared closer to the date.
For now, we just wanted to get the date on everyone’s calendars!
We’re looking forward to giving our kids an opportunity to practice kindness, serve others, and experience how even small gestures can make a big difference. 🌱💚
