📆November 10th: 10:30am-12:30pm📍Alabama Constitution Hall Park
🦃Alabama Constitution Hall Park invites you to celebrate Thanksgiving the 19th-century way during a special Homeschool Day filled! Discover how families cooked without modern appliances and explore the traditions that helped shape the Thanksgiving celebrations that we know today. As part of the experience, students will prepare and enjoy a small tasting of historically inspired foods, including roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans.
📢Please note: this is a tasting, not a full meal. The samples are meant to give students a taste of the 19th century and should not replace lunch.
A ticket must be purchased for each child participating at Homeschool Day, regardless of membership status at EarlyWorks Museums. Adults that are members are granted free admission as a chaperone. The cost of registration includes program expenses and materials. All children must be accompanied by an adult chaperone. Ticket sales close on November 4th.
