Home for the Holidays is back! 🎄Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 2, from 4-8 PM, as Downtown New Glasgow comes alive with holiday cheer for the Evergreen Festival's Home for the Holidays celebration!
Here's what's happening:
🎄New Glasgow Farmers Market: 4-8 PM
Shop the Night Market, featuring local vendors, and enjoy live performances by the New Glasgow Academy Choir and the Dogies! Santa will also be stopping by, and the Farmers Market tree lighting will take place at 7 PM.
Coastal Nova Scotia's Evergreen Festival: Enjoy live music, gather around the firepits, warm up with hot chocolate, and enjoy delicious s’more kits as part of Coastal Nova Scotia's Evergreen Festival festivities!
🎄Glasgow Square: 5:30-6:30 PM
Enjoy live performances by the Brass and Reed Band and Sheila Aucoin, along with hot chocolate, letters to Santa, the Christmas Kindness Project, Town Crier Jim Stewart, a holiday message from Mayor Nancy Dicks, and the Glasgow Square tree lighting!
The Christmas Kindness Project is spreading kindness throughout Pictou County through a T-shirt fundraiser and Christmas cards for seniors. Those who purchased a kindness T-shirt are invited to wear it and join in a special group photo at Glasgow Square!
Santa will be visiting Glasgow Square first before making his way to the Farmers Market!
Want to get involved? We're inviting local businesses and community organizations to be part of the festivities! If you're interested in participating, please reach out to Morgan Simms, Program, Culture, and Events Manager, at [email protected].
This holiday celebration is brought to you by Coastal Nova Scotia, the New Glasgow Farmers Market, and the Town of New Glasgow.
Bring your family and friends, bundle up, and join us as we kick off the holiday season in Downtown New Glasgow! ❤️
