Did you know that about 60% of food-borne illnesses originate in the home? Join the Kent County Health Department’s Food Safety team to learn about steps you can take while handling food at home to protect yourself and your loved ones from food-borne illnesses. Free food safety kits will be provided to participants that include probe and ambient air thermometers, a cutting board, gloves, and other food safety supplies.
Class will be presented in English with a live Spanish translator on site.
