Join us for this Home Educator Experience Day - Tank Tech: The Science and Engineering Behind WW2 Armour🔎These workshops look at the science behind tanks. Using model tanks of “Hobart’s Funnies,” children will use their problem-solving skills to find out how tanks were adapted to face the challenges of a beach landing and even make them float!
They will also have a go at assembling a 1:4 model of a Sherman tank; assembling the tank from several key parts such as the hull, turret, guns, sprockets and suspension.
