Reiki training begins with the person learning it. The first hand positions taught in Level I are the ones a student uses on their own body, a skill that lasts for a lifetime. For people who spend most of their attention on everybody around them, that's a rejuvenating reversal of energy flow.
Holy Fire III Reiki Level I certification is taught by Milo Kincaid, a Licensed Reiki Master Teacher through the International Center for Reiki Training, in the lineage of ICRT founder William Rand. The training combines the Western and Japanese styles and runs as a mix of lecture, discussion, and hands-on practice, with time spent both giving and receiving Reiki therapy. Students receive the Holy Fire III Level I attunement, a 192-page class manual, and a certificate, and on completion are able to give Reiki therapy to themselves and to others. No prior experience is required. Reiki certification is a training credential from the ICRT; it is not a medical or mental health license and does not qualify anyone to diagnose or treat a medical condition.
