A Hollywood Undead visszatér Budapestre – Ezt a bulit nem akarod kihagyni.A Hollywood Undead újra Budapestre érkezik február 3-án, a Barba Negrába! A Los Angeles-i zenekar a modern rock egyik legismertebb és legkülönlegesebb formációja: dalaikban a rap, a rock, a metal és az elektronikus zene találkozik. Koncertjük egyszerre zenei élmény és látványos show: maszkok, kirobbanó energia és egy jó adag kontrollált káosz találkozik a színpadon.
A Hollywood Undead története a 2000-es évek közepén, a MySpace korszakában indult, Sajátos, maszkos megjelenésükkel és műfajokat keverő zenéjükkel hamar kitűntek a mezőnyből. A maszkok azóta is a banda egyik legismertebb védjegyévé váltak: minden tagnak saját, folyamatosan változó maszkja van, amelyek nemcsak a vizuális világ részei, hanem a zenekar egyes korszakait is jelképezik. A koncerteken pedig a maszkok mellett a humor, a káosz és a közönséggel való intenzív kapcsolat is szerves része a show-nak.
A banda 2008-as debütáló albuma, a Swan Songs azonnal nagyot szólt, és azóta RIAA-platinalemez lett. A zenekar következő nagylemeze, a 2011-es American Tragedy szintén komoly sikert aratott: arany minősítést kapott, és a Billboard 200-as albumlistáján a 4. helyig jutott. Az ezt követő években olyan albumokkal építették tovább a saját hangzásukat, mint a Notes from the Underground, Day of the Dead, Five, valamint a New Empire és a Hotel Kalifornia.
A Hollywood Undead zenéjét nehéz egyetlen műfajba behatárolni. A rockos alapok mellett rapbetétek, elektronikus hangzások és dallamos refrének váltják egymást. Egyik daluk lehet agresszív és energikus, a következő pedig meglepően személyes vagy éppen fülbemászó. Ez a sokszínűség a kezdetektől a zenekar egyik legfontosabb ismertetőjegye, és talán ez is magyarázza, hogyan tudtak ilyen széles közönséget megszólítani.
A számok magukért beszélnek: a Hollywood Undead zenéit több mint 3,2 milliárd alkalommal streamelték világszerte, YouTube-videóik pedig már több mint egymilliárd megtekintésnél járnak. A zenekarnak jelenleg több mint 4,3 millió havi hallgatója van a Spotifyon, miközben az elmúlt közel két évtizedben Európában, Észak-Amerikában és a világ számos más pontján is teltházas koncerteket adtak.
A csapatot jelenleg Johnny 3 Tears, J-Dog, Charlie Scene, Funny Man és Danny alkotják, akik ma is aktívan dolgoznak új számokon, jelezve, hogy a Hollywood Undead több mint másfél évtized után sem akar visszatekintő nosztalgiabanda lenni.

Hollywood Undead return to Budapest on February 3, performing at Barba Negra! The Los Angeles band is one of modern rock’s most recognisable and distinctive acts, blending rap, rock, metal and electronic music. Their concerts are both a musical experience and a spectacular show, bringing masks, explosive energy and a healthy dose of controlled chaos to the stage.
Hollywood Undead’s story began in the mid-2000s, during the MySpace era. Their distinctive masked look and genre-blending sound quickly set them apart. The masks have since become one of the band’s most recognisable trademarks: each member has their own constantly evolving mask, which is not only part of the visual identity but also represents different eras of the band.
