Hollywood Lions Club Welcomes South Florida Audubon Society ~ aka HLC #152 ???♂️*The pride has the ZOOMIES again!* Come join us for Meeting #152 — where Lions, birds, and beach lovers unite!
? *Wednesday, July 8 | 6–7:30 PM*
? *Hollywood Jaycee Hall* 2930 Hollywood Blvd
*OUR SPECIAL GUESTS: South Florida Audubon Society* ??
These feathered-friends heroes protect our local birds, wildlife, and the natural habitats that make Hollywood paradise. They’re on a mission to keep our beaches wild and our skies full — including the *critical sand dunes* that shield us from storms, shelter shorebirds, and keep our Broadwalk beautiful.
*Why it matters:* Healthy dunes = happy birds = happy beach. It’s all connected! ?️✨
*PLUS: Lee Gottlieb from Adopt A Dune* ??
Lee’s grassroots crew restores and protects our dune system one sea oat at a time. He’ll share how YOU can adopt, plant, and defend Hollywood’s first line of defense... and why sea turtles, terns, and sunbathers all send their thanks ?
*ALSO ON THE AGENDA:*
? *King of the Jungle Award* — Who’s been roaring the loudest for service?
? Hollywood Police Athletic League / PAL Officer Patrick Agenor will be sharing all the good they are up to
? *Light refreshments, big laughs, and that famous Lions hospitality* — giving back never felt so good!
*The Hollywood Lions Club = PAL, Purpose & NOW... PLANTS & PLUMAGE* ???
We meet every 2nd Wednesday, supporting local nonprofits, students, and small businesses while having a roaring good time.
*COME SEE HOW PROTECTING DUNES = PROTECTING PARADISE* ?
Bring a friend, your questions, and your love for Hollywood Beach!
