What if the value you have to offer doesn’t always have to come from your wallet?
What if a dozen eggs could become a Reiki session?
A houseplant could be exchanged for a tarot reading.
A piece of handmade art could be traded for chakra balancing.
A jar of local honey could become a 20-minute energy session.
Or maybe the thing you have to offer is a skill or service of your own.
Welcome to the Inner Wellness ICT Holistic Barter Exchange, a community event built around a very old idea:
You bring something of value.
We bring something of value.
Together, we decide what feels like a fair exchange.
For five hours, holistic and energetic practitioners will be offering approximately 20-minute sessions through barter rather than traditional payment.
Depending on our final practitioner lineup, offerings may include:
• Reiki and Karuna Reiki
• Energy healing sessions
• Chakra balancing
• Chakra readings
• Crystal readings
• Tarot and intuitive card readings
• Body readings
• Energetic readings
• Energy clearing
• Energy activations
• Emotion-focused energy work
• Breath of Life meditation experiences
• Other holistic, energetic and wellness practices
Our practitioner list and individual offerings will be announced as we get closer to the event.
SO… WHAT CAN I BARTER?
This is where we want to leave the door OPEN.
Your barter does not have to be another healing service.
Bring something you genuinely have to offer.
Fresh eggs.
Local honey.
Plants.
Produce.
Homemade or handcrafted goods.
Art.
Crystals.
A new tarot or oracle deck.
Wellness items.
A service or skill you provide.
Or something completely different.
Practitioners may also barter services with one another.
The exchange is negotiated between you and the practitioner.
You make an offer. The practitioner can accept it, decline it, or suggest another exchange. Both people must agree that the barter feels fair before the session begins.
There is no universal price list.
There is no rule that says a dozen eggs equals 20 minutes of Reiki.
Bartering is a conversation.
The goal isn’t to see how cheaply we can obtain someone’s work. The goal is to recognize that value exists in many forms.
Someone may have an abundance of vegetables from their garden but very little extra spending money.
Someone else may have a healing skill but would love those vegetables.
One person has what another person needs.
And suddenly…
we have an exchange.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
Because community has resources.
People grow things.
People make things.
People create things.
People know things.
People have skills.
People have gifts.
And holistic wellness can be part of that exchange.
This is an experiment in community, connection, creativity and a different way of recognizing value.
Come curious.
Come willing to negotiate.
Come with something you’d genuinely be happy to exchange.
And come see what happens when we put people, resources, healing and possibility in the same room.
Bring what you have.
