About this Event
Holidays at the Homestead began as a way to open the historic Mason Homestead to the public during the winter season and has since grown into Leander’s only exclusively handcrafted artisan gift market. Set on the grounds of the historic homestead, this annual event brings together talented makers, artists, and craftspeople from across Texas for a warm, down-home holiday shopping experience.
Guests can explore a curated selection of one-of-a-kind handmade goods, including décor, jewelry, woodworking, textiles, and artisan foods, all while enjoying the charm and atmosphere of a historic setting. Visitors are also invited to tour the historic Mason Homestead, beautifully decorated for the holiday season, offering a glimpse into the home’s rich past wrapped in festive seasonal cheer.
More than a market, it has become a seasonal tradition that celebrates craftsmanship, community, and the spirit of the holidays.
Accesibility
Shopping and parking will be outside in the grassy area surrounding the home. Please note the ground can be rocky, muddy, and uneven in places.
The home itself is accesible via ramp located at the back entrance.
