Join us for the third part in our Dementia Educational Series - Holidays & Celebrations with Seniors: Special Challenges & Opportunities for Joy. When: Tuesday, December 8 at 11:45 a.m.

Learn about challenges that caregivers and families face in sharing the holidays or other celebrations with seniors and loved ones with dementia, and hear suggestions for making events less stressful and more joyful. This session will also include discussion about physical and cognitive changes in older adults that may impact their participation and enjoyment of activities, sharing of holiday traditions, planning for family events, outings with the individual, celebrations in community living, and ways to make pleasant enduring memories.
This event will be presented by Valerie J. Richards, MBA, Alzheimer’s Educator & Family Coach.
