𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧: Holiday Walk with NewTown Macon
𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘: NewTown Macon(555 Poplar St. )| December 15 | 6:00 PM
𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧: We'll join NewTown as we explore Downtown Macon during the holiday season. We will take a stroll under the lights as NewTown highlights upcoming projects. Get into the holiday spirit and wear your ugly sweaters if you have ‘em!
𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:
This one-hour, casual group walk meets on the third Tuesday of each month (March to June and September to December) at 6:00 PM. We’ll feature a guest guide and/or special topic to discuss as we explore the streets of Macon.
Participants should be able to walk 3 miles non-stop. Wear appropriate fitness gear and bring water. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed.
Before each walk, we’ll do some light stretching as Bike Walk Macon’s Education Instructor shares pedestrian safety information and smart walking tips.
