Downtown Providence is going to the dogs!
The Holiday Paws Downtown Block Pawty returns for its second year on Sunday, December 6, bringing together dogs, their humans, local businesses, makers, and the community for a festive day in the heart of downtown Providence.
This free, dog-friendly holiday celebration transforms downtown into a winter gathering filled with shopping, activities, entertainment, photo opportunities, friendly competitions, and plenty of ways to celebrate the season with your four-legged best friend.
What to Expect
Explore a curated marketplace of 25+ vendors featuring pet products, gifts, treats, local makers, and more.
Warm up and hang out inside the Paws & Play Lodge presented by Chaffee Industrial Roofing, a heated gathering space featuring activities, demonstrations, places to relax, and plenty of holiday atmosphere for people and pups.
Stop by the Tail Wag Tavern for festive beverages while enjoying the downtown celebration.
Dogs can get in on the action with contests, competitions, activities, and demonstrations throughout the day.
And no Holiday Paws would be complete without Santa Paws! Holiday photos with Santa Paws will be available for purchase, creating the perfect keepsake with your pup.
Guests can also take a chance on a great collection of raffle prizes donated by participating businesses and community partners, with proceeds helping support the Providence Animal Rescue League (PARL) and the production of this free community event.
