About this Event
Celebrate the holiday season with a hands-on lei making workshop led by Native Hawaiian artist and educator Kahi Barrett Keyes of Kaleipuupuu!
In this beginner-friendly class, participants will learn the traditional Hawaiian haku technique and braid fresh, seasonal foliage and flowers into a beautiful lei kūpeʻe (wrist or ankle lei) using a three-ply braid.
We'll also explore the cultural significance of lei making as we celebrate the holidays. No experience necessary.
