Back by popular demand! After last year’s sold-out stellar afternoon of holiday fun and delight, the trio of horns from the National Symphony Orchestra are back to celebrate again with us this year and ring in the festive winter season! Featuring James Nickel (ACMF 2023) Geoffrey Pilkington (ACMF 2026) and Robert Reardon from the NSO horn section.Join us after the concert for some refreshments with the artists and ACMF Artistic Director, Katie Tertell.
Seated in the intimacy of the parlors at Happy Retreat, audiences can enjoy chamber music as it was meant to be heard—in a 19th-century parlor whose acoustics are perfectly suited to these vivid and engaging performances. Curated by the Appalachian Chamber Music Festival, each concert assembles high-caliber musicians of both regional and international renown.

Chamber Music at Happy Retreat Series Pass
This season, you can enjoy all four concerts for just $125. All concerts will be held at Happy Retreat, except the concert on March 14th will be at Zion Episcopal Church. All concerts begin at 3:00 PM.
