Celebrate the Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday season with a creative coastal twist! In this 2-hour workshop, students will transform natural oyster and clam shells into beautiful, handcrafted holiday decorations using the art of decoupage. Whether you love the warm, cozy colors of Thanksgiving or the festive sparkle of Christmas, you’ll create unique coastal pieces that bring a little holiday magic into your home.
Students will learn how to prepare their shells, select festive holiday designs, and apply decorative patterns using decoupage techniques. From warm autumn colors, pumpkins, and Thanksgiving-inspired designs to festive Christmas patterns, winter greenery, and elegant holiday motifs, each student will have the freedom to create pieces that reflect their favorite holiday. Step-by-step instruction will guide students through the decoupage process, adding decorative details, and applying a finishing coat to protect their creations.
No previous experience is necessary. All materials and tools are provided. Each student will leave with their own handcrafted holiday oyster and clam shell creations, perfect for Thanksgiving table settings, Christmas décor, festive displays, or giving as one-of-a-kind holiday gifts.
The Art Center does not provide class exchanges or transfers. Refunds are only provided if the Art Center cancels the class.
