MEET THE MAKER:
Susan Lefler is an Artist and Printmaker based in Alexandria, Virginia. She's drawn to color, pattern and capturing small details of the botanical world. Susan has been an artist for as long as she can remember, but it wasn’t until 2021, when she rediscovered printmaking, that her path toward becoming a full-time artist truly began.
What started as a part-time curiosity in evening art classes quickly bloomed into a full-time passion. The tactile rhythm of carving, the thrill of revealing inking a new block and the quiet, meditative process throughout keeps her enthralled with the printmaking art form.
She delights in making both functional art, think bookmarks, stationery, and stickers, as well as prints designed to be framed and displayed. Follow her on Instagram, @susan_lefler_studios and see works for sale on her website, susanleflerstudios.com.
