🎄🪕 Holiday Bluegrass Jam Class! 🎻🎅Want to play bluegrass with other people, but aren't quite sure you're ready to walk into a jam?
Now is a great time to learn. Bluegrass jams are popping up all over the St. Louis area, with more opportunities than ever to get out, meet other musicians, and play.
For this special Holiday Jam Class, we'll be playing and singing holiday songs together. 🎶🎄 You'll receive a Holiday Jam Book plus a YouTube playlist ahead of time so you can listen, practice, and come ready to play.
🎅 Festive attire is encouraged, but certainly not required.
🥪 Feel free to bring a lunch.
🍪 And if you'd like, bring a favorite seasonal snack to share!
The Wernick Method Bluegrass Jam Class helps you make the jump from practicing at home to actually jamming with other people.
We'll work on rhythm and backup, jam etiquette, leading songs, kickoffs, finding melody notes, simple solos, transposing, and playing in small groups.
And mostly, we'll play. 🪕🎻🎸
You don't need to be an advanced musician. If you know your basic chords and can keep a steady beat, you're ready to start learning how to jam.
