Celebrate the magic of the Christmas season with an elegant Holiday Afternoon Tea at The Magnolia Inn, nestled in the heart of historic downtown Clayton, North Carolina.
Step inside our beautifully decorated 1895 Victorian home, where twinkling Christmas lights, festive greenery, and timeless holiday charm create an enchanting setting for a memorable afternoon.
Your experience begins with a welcoming glass of sparkling wine or non-alcoholic sparkling cider, followed by a specially curated seasonal afternoon tea featuring delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, festive miniature desserts, and a selection of fine teas, all served in our elegant historic parlors.
Whether you're gathering with friends, celebrating with family, or creating a cherished new holiday tradition, this festive experience offers a wonderful opportunity to slow down, savor the season, and enjoy a little old-fashioned Christmas magic.

Two Seatings Available Each Sunday
To welcome more guests this holiday season while preserving the intimate atmosphere of our Victorian parlors, we're pleased to offer two seatings on each date:
First Seating: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Second Seating: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Each seating offers the same complete Holiday Afternoon Tea experience and lasts approximately 90 minutes.
Please select your preferred date and seating time when purchasing tickets. We kindly ask guests to arrive promptly to enjoy their full experience.
Tickets & What's Included
$85 per person, plus applicable Eventbrite fees
Each ticket includes:
- Seasonal Afternoon Tea Menu: A specially curated selection of festive finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and miniature holiday desserts.
- Fine Tea Selection: A variety of teas served in our elegant historic Victorian parlors.
- Sparkling Welcome Toast: One glass of sparkling wine (ages 21+) or non-alcoholic sparkling cider.
- Holiday Photo Opportunities: Take personal and family photographs throughout our beautifully decorated Victorian parlors and designated common areas.
- Victorian Tea Hats: Guests are welcome to borrow from our charming collection of hats to complete their festive look and capture memorable holiday photographs.
Seating is limited for each gathering, and advance reservations are required.
Dress for the Occasion
Victorian-inspired attire, festive dresses, elegant hats, and holiday finery are warmly encouraged, though never required!
For those who wish to embrace the tradition of afternoon tea, The Magnolia Inn offers a charming collection of hats available for guests to borrow during their visit.
Whether you arrive in your finest holiday ensemble or simply dress for a lovely afternoon out, we invite you to embrace the elegance and festive spirit of a Victorian Christmas.

From our elegant parlors to the grand staircase and charming holiday displays, you'll find beautiful backdrops for capturing special moments with loved ones.
Whether you're dressed in Victorian-inspired attire, wearing one of our borrowed tea hats, or simply enjoying the festivities, we encourage you to capture memories you'll treasure for years to come!
Please note that professional photography equipment and elaborate photo setups require prior approval and may incur an additional fee.

Important Information: Guests must be at least 5 years old to attend. All guests require a full-price ticket. Alcoholic beverages are served only to guests ages 21 and older with valid identification. Non-alcoholic sparkling cider is available as an alternative. Menu selections may vary based on seasonal availability. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by The Magnolia Inn.
