Spend a weekend focused on the two of you.Join us November 7–8 in Brunswick, Maine for Hold Me Tight®: Conversations for Connection, a private, guided couples workshop based on Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT).
Hold Me Tight is designed for couples who want to understand the patterns they get caught in, communicate differently, rebuild closeness, and strengthen their emotional connection.
Over two days, you’ll learn together as a group and then have a series of structured, private conversations with your partner. You won’t be asked to share the details of your relationship with the group. Experienced couple therapists and facilitators will be available throughout the weekend to help when you get stuck.
This fall will be our biggest Hold Me Tight workshop yet. Dr. Andrea J. Medaris will be joined by guest presenter Justin Smyly, LMFT, a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist and Supervisor whose practice is devoted exclusively to couples, and Jennifer Hall Taylor, LMFT, who will lead our exploration of sex, sexuality, and emotional connection.
Our expanded facilitation team will also include therapists from the Center for Relationships EFCT Fellowship and Residency programs, allowing us to offer more individualized support to couples throughout the weekend.
