Hockney Paint Jam is a series of immersive art-studio events - celebrating our love of the late and great British artist, David Hockney.
This alternative Frieze event in our new Regents Park Paint Jam studio, offers a dynamic day of David Hockney inspired sketching, photography and canvas painting workshops - designed to explore David Hockneys iconic pop art to impressionistic-gestural painting style (Full or half day).
Sat 17th October - HOCKNEY SKETCH-ON WORKSHOP (11.30am-1.30pm) - photograpy & sketching nature-based workshop in Regents Park. Exploring David hockney's al-fresco drawing and painting, his approach to light and his iconic suggestive mark-making and brush-strokes. You will have the chance to sketch in sketch books or on your ipads like Hockney! Paint Jam studios is hosting David Hockney inspired artist live-paints, participatory painting workshops + Hockney film projections - for everyone! Hockney Paint Jam events begin at Creative Mile Brentford (4th-6th Sept 26). Participating artists include London-based artists Chico Andrew Stockwell, Sarah Smits, Gurveer Padhal and Dalia Zermon (Paint Jam & Pop Up Art Studio founder).

Paint Jams happen in our immersive pop up art studio - with an artist-lead painting workshop, live DJ sets and art projections - all to a Modern Art theme. Paint Jam is a full vibes painting experience.

Started in 2009 by London artist Dalia Zermon, Paint Jam events are critically acclaimed and have happened across London from ICA London, National Gallery, Battersea Power Station and Canary Wharf, as well as our long off-beat history in secret take-over and meanwhile spaces. we are currently based in a riverside studio at XYZ Brentford, a Muse Gallery project.
