Hobby Hoppers is a relaxed monthly meetup for creative people of all types and skill levels. Bring along whatever project you’re currently working on.To keep things as comfortable and manageable as possible:
- Please avoid religious or political topics/projects at meetups.
- No edible or cosmetic projects - except for pre-packaged snacks.
- Meetups are for ages 16+
- Please be respectful of different skill levels and hobbies.
There will be a selection of pre-packaged snacks for the group, as well as milk, tea and coffee. Feel free to also bring your own food/drink if you like.
We will take a photo of the craft show-and-tell table to show on our facebook page: you can bring unfinished or finished projects to include but there is no obligation to participate in this.
Couldn’t bring a project to work on? No worries! There will be a creativity basket with colouring pages, collage supplies, and paper crafts available - plus some simple prompts to get your creativity going. But you’re also welcome to just chat and look at what everyone else is making.
If you’d like to help cover the cost of room hire, optional donations are appreciated but never expected.
