HMS Sultan's spectacular Bonfire and Fireworks Night returns this October half-term, and this year we're celebrating something extra special: 70 years of engineering excellence.Join us for a thrilling evening of family fun with a commemorative twist. Set at the Royal Navy's centre of professional engineering for Air and Marine Engineering, this year's event promises an unforgettable night for all the family.
Nation Radio's Mark Collins will guide you through an evening packed with entertainment, from traditional funfair rides and games to our impressive bonfire, building to a breathtaking fireworks finale with a special engineering-inspired soundtrack celebrating 70 years of skill, innovation and the future of the service.
Hot food, snacks and treats will be available all evening.
This is an affordable community event that also supports HMS Sultan's own service charity, bringing our local and service community together for a night to remember.
Evening schedule:
Parking available from 5:00pm (valid parking ticket required). Gates open at 5:30pm. Bonfire lighting at 7:45pm. 70th anniversary fireworks display at 8:30pm. Gates close at 10:45pm.

Book online at hmssultan.ticketsrv.co.uk. Booking fees and terms and conditions apply. Funfair rides are not included in entry and are charged separately.
Early bird prices, available until 25 October: family ticket (2 adults + 2 children) £20, adult £7, child (ages 3 to 15) £4, parking £5, under 3s free.
Standard prices from 26 October: family ticket £25, adult £10, child £5, parking £5, under 3s free.
Parking:
Parking is limited and only available with a pre-purchased parking ticket. Book early to avoid disappointment.
