A history talk by researcher, historian, author and speaker Ross McMullin. In 1991, he was selected to write the centenary history of the Australian Labor Party, The Light on the Hill. That book was well received. Decades later, Ross has now updated it to include the Rudd, Gillard, Rudd years plus the current Albanese government.
Regardless of your personal political views, this talk will be an entertaining "warts and all" presentation about one of the oldest political parties. Copies of the new edition of the book will be for sale after the talk. Gold coin admission.
