Join us for an evening lantern tour of Historic Oak Hill Cemetery & hear frightful and mysterious tales from Lawrence’s past!
This tour will be offered on October 10 and again on October 17.
The tour will begin promptly at 7 PM at the Quantrill's Raid monument in Section 3.
Please note that the tour relates the actual accounts of murders that took place in Lawrence. Graphic details are given and may not be appropriate for all audiences. Tours are 90 minutes and will take place in semi-darkness across uneven terrain. Please use discernment when deciding to participate.

Info: In registering, you release and discharge the Douglas County Historical Society and its partners from any and all liability arising from accident, injury, and illness that you and anyone accompanying you may suffer as a result of participation in such activity. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Douglas County Historical Society and its partners from any and all claims resulting from injuries, damages and losses sustained by you arising out of, connected with, or in any way associated with, the activity. In the event of an emergency, you authorize tour personnel to secure from any licensed hospital, physician, or medical personnel any treatment deemed necessary for your immediate care and agree that you will be responsible for payment of any and all medical services rendered.
