Don’t just LOOK at history. Hear it. Feel it. RIDE in it!History doesn’t stand still at the Museum of the American G.I.! Join us November 7 & 8 for HISTORY IN MOTION, when historic military machines leave the display line and take to the arena.
Watch light and medium tanks, tank destroyers, the massive LVT-4, and other historic military vehicles roar into action during our vehicle demonstrations. Hear historic small arms come to life, watch Civil War soldiers drill in the School of the Soldier, and enjoy musical entertainment throughout the day.
But you don’t have to just watch history—you can experience it!
Discover the weapons soldiers carried during World War II at our WWII Small Arms Blank-Fire Station. Then climb aboard and experience military history from a whole new perspective with a ride in a WWII tank or Vietnam-era M113.
And whatever you do, don’t leave early! We end each day with the thunder of an artillery demonstration.
