History Hike: Swedish Farmers of Northern Delaware

Join park interpreters for our very first Swedish history program!
Starting nearly 400 years ago, Bellevue’s land was the site of Verdrietige Hook - a small farming community settled by Finnish and Swedish colonists of New Sweden. Join us to learn more about Swedish settlement at Bellevue and what life looked like for these settlers.
Walk-ups welcome, no registration required. Meet at the Cauffiel House. Free!
