Step back in time this holiday season for Historic Hoverhome’s Annual Holiday Tea. This year’s theme, Deck the Decades: A Very Vintage Christmas, takes a festive journey through Christmases of decades past.Historic Hoverhome will be filled with vintage-inspired holiday décor celebrating the styles, and nostalgia of different eras. While we’ve drawn inspiration from Christmas traditions and trends through the decades, we’ve also taken a little creative license along the way to make the experience especially festive and fun. Think of it as a celebration of the spirit of Christmases past rather than a strict historical recreation.
Guests will be among the first to see Historic Hoverhome decorated for the holiday season while enjoying a special afternoon in one of Longmont’s historic treasures. The afternoon will feature a three-course tea with scones, a selection of tea sandwiches, desserts, and tea, along with a historical program.
Seating begins at 11:30 a.m., with tea service beginning at noon.
To add to the fun, guests are encouraged—but certainly not required—to dress in their favorite Christmas decade! Whether your style is the 1920s, 1950s, 1960s, 1980s, or another favorite era, we’d love to see your vintage holiday spirit.
More than just a festive afternoon, the Holiday Tea is a fundraiser for The St. Vrain Historical Society. Proceeds help support our ongoing efforts to preserve and care for Historic Hoverhome for future generations.
Tickets are $70 per person, and supports The St. Vrain Historical Society with the continued preservation and care of Historic Hoverhome.
