Sunday, November 22, 2026.Haunted Rooms America has exclusive use of one of the oldest operating inns in America for one night only. Welcoming travelers since 1740 on land granted in 1667, the General Stanton Inn was a meeting place for George Washington's spies, a stop on the Underground Railroad, an illegal gambling house and a Prohibition speakeasy. General Joseph Stanton died inside the inn in December 1821 and, by every account since, never left.
Guests report shoulder taps from behind, doorknobs turning on empty rooms and cold breezes in the upstairs hallway in the middle of summer. A young girl in a white bonnet peers around corners in the guest rooms. A white cat that does not exist brushes past ankles in the dining room. The inn was investigated by TAPS on Ghost Hunters, and the activity has carried on through its recent restoration.
We investigate the whole building: the 1667 schoolhouse, the colonial guest rooms, the second-floor hallway, the Prohibition Room, the dining rooms and the tavern. Structured vigils with our team and professional equipment run until around midnight, followed by two hours of free roam to investigate wherever you choose, with Estes Method sessions available.
GENERAL ADMISSION: $149 per person, 8PM to 2AM.
OVERNIGHT ROOMS: $399 to $549 per room for two, including the full investigation, check-in from 5PM and your room for the night in the inn itself. Once general admission guests leave at 2AM, the whole inn is yours to carry on investigating for as long as you like. Choose from eight room types, including the General's Quarters, the room said to have been General Stanton's own bedroom.
All attendees must be 16 or over. The lead booker on a room must be 21 or over.
