Free Training Opportunity
Employers and job seekers may attend the free AskJAN training: Tips for Designing Accessible Application Processes.
This Job Accommodation Network (JAN) online training hosted by the New Mexico Health Care Authority and the New Mexico Commission for the Blind provides an overview of how accessibility principles can be incorporated into application processes and procedures. It explores the relationship between accessibility and accommodations, covering key concepts such as interoperable communication, physical access, and digital accessibility. Through real-world examples, participants will examine practical approaches for applying these principles to cerate accessible application processes and effectively engage a broad pool of qualified applicants.
