Madison's favorite Phish Tribute Jamband PHUN is back for the 13th annual instalment of Hippie Christmas at The Bur Oak on Saturday, December 19th. Every year, PHUN host's the holiday party locally and takes on a different musical challenge as a figurative "present" for those in attendance. Last year at The High Noon, PHUN brought a horn section and played Trey Anastasio Band favorites. Over the years, the band has tributed Tom Petty, The Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic, Prince and many others.
This year, the band will take on the persona called: "Pink PHUN Radio" and play an eclectic mix of Pink Floyd, Phish and Radiohead. The band will play two sets beginning at 8pm. Tickets are available at PhishPHUN.com and all Bur Oak outlets.
