Jim Malcolm is the ultimate Scots troubadour. Travelling the world with his guitar, harmonicas, and engaging wit, he sings the traditional songs of Scotland and his own masterfully crafted songs in a style which is modern and accessible, yet utterly authentic. He is highly regarded as an interpreter of the songs of Robert Burns, and has been described as “one of the finest singers in Scotland in any style”.
Beth Malcolm is one of the finest voices in Scottish folk music. Though still in her 20s, she has won the coveted title of Scots Singer of the Year in 2022 and 2024. Being Jim’s daughter and brought up seeped in the songs of Scotland, she brings an inter generational experience of Scotland’s song traditions, and alongside Jim Malcolm will offer an evening of sublime harmony.
Callum Convoy is one of the most talented musicians of his generation, playing the Celtic hand drum called the Bodhran. He will bring Celtic rhythms to the performance. Together, Jim, Beth and Callum will offer the audience a unique musical experience.
