About this Event
We have music by Astari and Laura Belfrage, readings from Carrie Tiffany and Andre Dao, as well as a reading from Fleur Jaeggy's These Possible Lives.
Drawing from personal moments and everyday experiences, Astari writes intimate, reflective songs rooted in observation and emotional honesty. Her debut EP, 'Pool', is out now.
Laura Belfrage is a singer song writer who'll be performing traditional Australian folk songs.
Carrie Tiffany won the 2013 Stella Prize for her novel Mateship with Birds and she's just published a divine little book (with artwork by Noel McKenna), The Lady with the Dog.
André Dao's novel Anam won the Prime Minister’s Literary Award for Fiction and the NSW Premier’s Literary Award for New Writing, and was shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Literary Award
And These Possible Lives by Swiss author Fleur Jaeggy is a deeply unusual little poetic three-part memoir of Thomas De Quincey, John Keats, and Marcel Schwob.
