Meet at 10 AM at the Welcome Center. We will hike the Siltstone Trail to Scott’s Gap and back. Two options - 6.4 miles (one way) and 12.7 miles (out & back). We will need people to shuttle those doing the 6.4-mile option back to the Welcome Center. Please let Annie or Michele know if you are interested in shuttling. If you are hiking the whole trail, please bring plenty of water, snacks, and/or a light lunch. We will stop halfway for a few minutes to snack/eat lunch. (If you don’t want to hike that far, you can turn around at any point.) Hike is very difficult, with several hills and elevation gain of 2,368 feet. Recommend hiking boots and trekking poles.
