Have your portrait made using an 1850s photographic process in the beautiful Victorian setting of Highwic, Auckland.I’ll be bringing my mobile darkroom to Highwic this December for a limited number of sessions.
Each portrait is made by hand on a 5 x 4 inch glass or aluminium plate, developed on the spot. No digital camera, negatives or retouching - just a unique, one-of-a-kind photograph.
Sessions are suitable for individuals or two people. Each plate is traditionally varnished with gum sandarac, and you’ll receive a digital copy too.
Maximum two people per session. Bookings essential.
