*This workshop series is part of a research collaboration with UNCW* Are you often tired, overwhelmed, and burnt out? Do you struggle with people-pleasing and boundaries? Are you easily overwhelmed by sensory input? Are you told you are too sensitive or an empath? Do you struggle with chronic health issues due to constant stress?
You could be a Highly Sensitive Person!
In this two-part workshop series, we will explore the science behind the trait of High Sensitivity, engage in reflective journaling, learn evidence-based coping techniques, and learn strategies from evidence-based therapy modalities (and meet like-minded people along the way!).
The HSP workshop series covers parts one and two of the Stop Surviving Start Thriving group workshop. On day one, we will focus on learning about ourselves and practicing self-regulation, and on day two, we will focus on setting boundaries and living well in a non-sensitive world. Participants will begin the workshop by completing a survey, participate in both workshop days, and then complete a survey at the end.
This project is approved by the UNCW IRB HB27-0301.
