Highfield Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) – Carmarthen
Gain a nationally recognised Highfield Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification with Pinnacle Workforce Training Ltd.
This accredited one-day course is ideal for employees, employers, volunteers, small businesses and anyone wishing to develop the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in a first aid emergency.
During the course you will learn how to:
- Assess an emergency situation
- Perform CPR
- Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Help a choking casualty
- Control external bleeding
- Treat burns and scalds
- Recognise and manage shock
- Help a casualty having a seizure
- Place an unconscious casualty in the recovery position
- Understand the role and responsibilities of an Emergency First Aider

The course fee includes expert tuition, a Highfield First Aid Handbook, all course materials and assessment.
Assessment
The qualification is assessed through practical demonstrations of essential emergency first aid skills, including CPR, use of an AED and the management of emergency first aid situations, together with a multiple-choice examination. Both elements must be successfully completed to achieve the Highfield Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification.
Places are limited to a maximum of 8 learners, ensuring plenty of practical hands-on experience and individual support throughout the day.
