Festive magic is returning to Highcliffe Castle this year for our annual Christmas Tree Festival. The perfect family Christmas experience.Welcome to Highcliffe Castle Christmas Tree Festival 2026
Saturday 28 November – Wednesday 23 December
Back for the third-year running, the decorated trees will take pride of place throughout the Castle. Younger visitors can enjoy a festive elf trail which will incorporate the trees contributed by local businesses, charities and individuals to create a delightful experience for all.
Tickets include entry to the Castle, entry to the festival, children’s trail and our new art exhibition presented by Hengist Group of Artists.
On peak days, you can also enjoy live music, refreshments from the Castle bar and festive food. Please see below for more information.
Opening times
The Castle will be open daily from 10am-4pm with extended opening hours on:
· Saturday 28 November 10am-8pm
· Saturday 5 December 10am-8pm
· Saturday 12 December 10am-8pm
· Friday 18 December 10am-8pm
· Saturday 19 December 10am-8pm
· Monday 21 December 10am-8pm
· Tuesday 22 December 10am-8pm
· Wednesday 23 December 10am-8pm
Please note last admissions is 1 hour before closing.

Daytime admission
Highcliffe Castle Standard Membership is valid for two people. Please click two tickets at checkout so we can accurately track our visitor numbers.
Likewise, for Highcliffe Castle Family Membership, please click four tickets at checkout.
An additional fee of £2.50 per member will be charged for sessions outside of our normal opening hours (4pm-8pm)
Historic Houses Members - HH Membership is only valid for daytime admission. Please select required evening tickets at checkout if you wish to book for this event.

Food Bank Donations - Christmas can be a challenging time for many people, so this year Highcliffe Castle are supporting local food banks. For each attendee who can bring an item for our ' A gift at Christmas' Tree, we will give a voucher for 10% off purchases in our shop on the day of your visit.
Suggested items include tinned goods, biscuits, staple foods and toiletries.
Catering & Refreshments - during peak times, the Castle Bar will also be open for you to purchase drinks and refreshments. Please note, we can only take card payments on the bar and in the gift shop.
Car Parking - The pay and display car park on site can be very busy at peak times. Please allow plenty of time to park your vehicle in order to arrive at the Castle entrance for your chosen entry time. If you are unable to locate parking or have any questions, please call the Castle Team directly on 01202 093377.
Accessibility - There is level access throughout the Castle. A lift is available to all floors for those who require it.
