High-Piled Combustible StorageEngineering, Enforcement & Collaboration
Join the Fire Prevention Association of North Texas (FPANT) and Society of Fire Protection Engineers – DFW Chapter (SFPE-DFW) on Wednesday, December 9, 2026, for a collaborative half-day training exploring high-piled combustible storage from both the Fire Protection Engineer (FPE) and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) perspectives.
Through three engaging sessions, attendees will explore the challenges of high-piled storage, engineering design, code compliance, permitting, and enforcement, while gaining practical insight into how these disciplines intersect.
Featured Presenters & Sessions:
➡️ Tom Legler, FM, CFPS – Beyond the Rack: An AHJ Approach to High-Piled Storage
➡️ Mike Klemenz, PE, FSFPE – Fire Protection Engineers, AHJs & Building Design
➡️ Dillon Grewing – High-Piled Storage: Fire Hazards, Protection & Permitting
More than just technical training, this event is an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, build professional relationships, and strengthen collaboration between those who design fire protection systems and those responsible for reviewing and enforcing them.
