Saturday, October 31st, 2026: Post Modern Music presents HEXX at AWOL BARBefore this country had a name, there lived an ancient witch called Nyxara.
She walked among the forests, demanding blood offerings in exchange for peace. The first people honored the old pact, and the land remained quiet.
When European settlers arrived, they mocked the ancient covenant. The sacrifices stopped.
That autumn became known as the Season Without Dawn. Crops blackened overnight. Entire settlements disappeared. No prayer could silence the forest.
An Elder crossed the ocean carrying forbidden rites. With the reluctant help of Indigenous guardians, he bound Nyxara beneath an old tree forged from church bells and blessed steel.
She could not be killed.
Only made to sleep.
She was sealed inside a stone coffin. Every crack was filled with blessed salt and black wax. As time passed, the salt dissolved into the earth. Just months ago, the ancient oak that imprisoned her was finally cut down.
As the last living root snapped, her eyes opened...
HALLOWEEN NIGHT-HEXX:
The night is constructed by Chris Mercier-moving between director, producer, and DJ as HEXX slips into motion.
The music is heavy and driving. Deep rhythms, dark textures, and low frequencies designed to pull you inward, work up a sweat, and keep you there.
But this Halloween, the night refuses to end on time.
At 2AM, the clock is pulled backward. An hour already lived returns to us.
Consider it her offering.
60 more minutes beneath the spell.
60 more minutes in the dark.
60 more minutes before she releases you.
For one night, step outside yourself. Become someone else. Become something else.
