HEXIS emerged in Denmark in 2010, forging a relentless sound rooted in Black Metal and infused with the intensity of Hardcore. Blending bleak atmospheres with crushing aggression, the band has developed a distinctive style that also draws from Doom and Sludge, creating a dense and uncompromising sonic identity.
Since their formation, HEXIS have performed over 1100 shows worldwide, spanning from the Faroe Islands to New Zealand, and from Cuba to Mongolia. Their reputation has been built on both their prolific output and their powerful, immersive live performances.
The band has released three full-length albums—Abalam (2014), Tando Ashanti (2017), and Aeternum (2022)—alongside numerous EPs and split releases. With members spread across Europe, HEXIS continues to push their sound forward, earning recognition on international stages including Roskilde Festival, Copenhell, Bloodstock Open Air, Roadburn, and Damnation Festival.

VIOLENCE
Violence is a Copenhagen-based post-punk band formed from the ashes of the blackened
hardcore band Woes. With deep roots in the European underground scene and more than
100 live shows across the continent, the band has evolved from raw punk origins into a
modern interpretation of late ‘80s post-punk, blending melancholic atmospheres with
immersive synth-driven soundscapes.
In 2022, Violence released their debut album Area Sub Rosa (Last Mile Records), which
received critical acclaim and 5/6 stars from Scandinavian music magazine Gaffa, and was
highlighted as one of the year’s strongest releases.
Their 2025 EP Forgetting How to Cry (Summer Darling Tapes) marked a more experimental
direction, incorporating elements of trance and contemporary electronic music while
maintaining the band’s dark and nostalgic core.
Their upcoming EP Nostalgia is Depression, set for release in fall 2026, pushes further into
electronic territory while continuing to explore the outer edges of post-punk and goth. The
release also marks a new era for the band with the addition of vocalist and keyboardist
Alberte Lieberoth, adding new intensity and emotional depth to the band’s sound.
