About this Event
Are you, or do you know, a community-based, grassroots or local organisation working with women in Bedfordshire?
Following the successful launch of HerSpace Bedfordshire in March, we are delighted to invite organisations, community groups and professionals to join us for the next HerSpace Bedfordshire Network Event.
HerSpace Bedfordshire was established to bring together organisations supporting women across the county, creating opportunities to connect, collaborate and strengthen support for women and girls. The network provides a space to share knowledge, showcase services, amplify community voices and build meaningful partnerships.
At the first event, many organisations told us that they wanted to be able to raise awareness of their services to statutory partners, like the police, health and social care. Partners also told us that they would like to know more about these organisations and how they can support the women they work with.
Taking on this feedback, we havearranged a second event that will build on the momentum of the launch and focus on:
- Increasing awareness of available services and support pathways to statutory partners and professionals
- Developing relationships with statutory partners and professionals
- Strengthening connections between organisations supporting women in Bedfordshire
- Improving accessibility and opportunities for referrals
- Sharing learning, good practice and emerging opportunities across the sector
