Adams County Winery is Pennsylvania’s 5th oldest operating winery, nestled in an 1860’s Civil War era bank barn. Surrounded by 75 acres of countryside charm, their vineyards and seasonal gardens will greet us for the most historically delicious pour in Gettysburg!
Next, learn about Gettysburg in a new way at the Beyond the Battle Museum. Gettysburg Beyond the Battle is an award-winning museum located less than a mile from the heart of downtown Gettysburg. In a town steeped in history, Beyond the Battle Museum provides a full picture of the Gettysburg story, from prehistoric times to the recent past. Here, you will learn about the people who resided here before, during, and after the Civil War’s most famous battle. The museum houses over 1,000 artifacts ranging from dinosaur footprints to cannonballs.
After some leisure time & dinner in downtown, finish the day with a Candlelit Walking Ghost Tour. In this candlelit tour, join us for a thoroughly eerie experience of exploring an orphanage and The Jennie Wade Birth House along with local cemeteries! Listen to the gruesome stories behind each of these locations and what makes them prime sights for hauntings.
